Every PC can be converted into a yellow PC with just calling a setup program which takes 5 - 10 minutes. This PC can hold any self-installed application and after the yellow setup you can mix this application with application coming with NetInstall. The installed applications are not affected, ( or: we have not seen any interference yet ) although we cannot guarantee it.
The user can install and uninstall whatever he wants. During the installation the user is asked for a local installation path.
When applications have to be updated, the user of a yellow PC is informed at logon, that one application should be updated. He can choose whether to update it now, at the next logon or never.
