First Look at 1997 AMANDA Trigger Rates versus Time

Amanda-Internal report (ps-file) as of August 31st,1997 by Volker Kraetzig (summer student from Univ. Bonn) and Ralf Wischnewski.

This report gives Amanda-B and Amanda-A counting Rates from the 1997 satellite log-files. Status: All Statistics until August 1997.

Ascii-output file extract_log_500-833.out
The file produced by extract_log.cpp .
It contains all information about counting rates for 1997 runs 500-833. The variable names are explained in the example kumac .

Demonstrates how to generate an Ntuple from Ascii file extract_log_500-833.out and plot a figure 7.
Doing your own plots is very simple !
Just get the above two files example kumac and the ascii file extract_log_500-833.out to your local directory, start PAW and do:
```
  
     PAW> exec figure 
     PAW> nt/pl 1.x3%b2  
     PAW> nt/pl 1.x3/b3%b2  b3>0.  
```
just as an example for how to plot number and rate of up-filter events versus GPS-time etc. etc. etc.
All you have to know is the Ntuple variable names, which are explained in the example kumac .

Finally, here is is the program reading the original pole log-files and producing the condensed ascii output file extract_log_500-833.out . It contains one line for each log-file with all relevant numbers.
