Following extra DAQ-TDC channels are used:
- MainTrigger (FinalTrigger after OR) - 457
- "Laser"-Trigger (not used in Winter) - 456
The Trigger Thresholds are set to
As an example for a configuration file, we give
standard detector configuration file as defined in February 1999.
It gives the standard 1999 DAQ mapping for all electronic to readout channels,
as used since February 1999.
Note, that the configuration file was redefined by the WO's around August, 20th, 1999, after 2 ADC's 7164 died.
For any raw-datafile you are working with,
you can obtain the current configuration-file stored in that rawfile
using the reader with --extract-config flag:
If the datafile is "ab_1999_xxx_yyy_zzz.data", then
cat ab_1999_xxx_yyy_zzz.data | reader99 --extract-config=this_configfile.cnf
returns as "this_configfile.cnf" the current detector-configuration file.
The mapping rules are as follows:
Type of Readout Channel |
OM Number |
F2K-Channel Number

Primary Channel Readout
(one readout per channel,

i=1...428 |
j=i =1...428 |
Double Readout

i=303...428 (15 Channels) |
j=i+10000 =10303...10428

Calibration Double Readout (LeCroy3377) |
i=311...336,353...358 (32 Channels) |
j=i+500 |

A pair of TDC-16_fold ECL Cable was in June99 found to be mixed (flipped).
This happened sometime during summer99. First reported at Berkeley 4/1999.
Please, see that report for a powerful method how to locate groups
of misconnected channels, that is applicable to any set of Amanda data.
These connectors were planned to be corrected at Station opening.
OMs that must be re-mapped are:
