Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position based at Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron (DESY) . The successful applicant will work on projects of mutual interests in Prof. Huirong Yan' group' at both DESY and University of Potsdam. The appointment will be for two years with possible extension upon successful performance.

As one of Germany's largest research centres, DESY carries out fundamental research in various areas including astroparticle physics. DESY experts are playing leadership roles in a number of international projects in astroparticle physics, including IceCube and CTA.

Applicants with expertise on MHD simulations, plasma processes and astroparticle physics and are particularly encouraged to apply. Salary and benefits are commensurate with those of public service organizations in Germany. Classification is based upon qualifications and assigned duties.
