Payment at the Workshop Secretary and of extras at the restaurant should be made in Deutsche Mark (DM). You may exchange easiest foreign currencies on arrival at an exchange office at the airports, where also traveller cheques (in US $ or Deutsche Mark) may be cashed. Traveller checks (DM) and Eurocheques (ec) may be used for payment or chashed at the local bank office and the local post office up to DM 400,- + bank handling. If not possible otherwise currency exchange of European currencies (convertible in Germany) and US $ may also be done during the working hours of the Sparkasse in Rheinsberg or of the Raiffeisenbank in Rheinsberg.

The Workshop will be held at Hotel "Deutsches Haus" at Rheinsberg, a small town north of Berlin in the countryside of Mark Brandenburg with various lakes in its surroundings. Rheinsberg is one of the historical sites of Brandenburg. Friedrich II. of Prussian lived here his coronation. The town became well-known also through a novel by Kurt Tucholsky.

The conference fee of DM 570,- includes the proceedings, full board during the whole Workshop, beverages offered during the breaks, a banquet, an organ music evening and an excursion. Payment should be made either by remittance to the Hamburgische Landesbank (see Registration Form) or at the Workshop Secretary upon arrival. Please note, that costs for bank handling are not included in the fee and have to be supplemented. If the payment is later than March 1, 1998 a surcharge of DM 50,- must be included. Payment of the conference fee by credit cards is possible. Please do not forget to fax a copy of your remittance. The payment of your room shall be done to the Hotel directly.

Driving the A24 (E26, E55) to Autobahndreieck Wittstock /Dosse. Then use the road direction Wittstock, Schweinrich, Flecken Zechlin, Linow, Rheinsberg.

From Hannover:

Driving the A2 (E30), leave the A2 at Autobahndreieck Werder near Potsdam and drive the A10 (E55, Berliner Ring) direction Autobahndreieck Havelland to Birkenwerder (exit 34) use the F96 to Gransee and than use the road direction Schönemark, Sonnenberg, Köpernitz, Rheinsberg.

From Zeuthen:

Driving the A10 (E55) cross the Autobahndreieck Schwanebeck and the Autobahn-
dreieck Pankow, take exit Birkenwerder. Use the F96 to Gransse and than use the road direction Schönemark, Sonnenberg, Köpernitz, Rheinsberg.

On Sunday, April 19, 1998 you can go by conference bus to Rheinsberg.
