General options in ptx - GNU Coreutils

‘-G’
‘--traditional’: As already explained, this option disables all gnu extensions to ptx and switches to traditional mode.
‘--help’: Print a short help on standard output, then exit without further processing.
‘--version’: Print the program version on standard output, then exit without further processing.

An exit status of zero indicates success, and a nonzero value indicates failure.
