- Clients usually set for 90kbps in public (can transmit/receive up to 500kbps)
- Clients and reflectors monitor packet loss and throttle back when necessary
- Packet loss:
- <5% - healthy conference
- 10% - usable but noticeable
- 20% - conversations difficult
