The FORTRAN77 program COCHA for the data structure management is
described. COCHA provides a very simple implementation of the
entity-relationship model
of data, including dynamic memory management, the direct access
of users to COCHA
banks, the algebra of relationships, and the compact
event presentation. COCHA was
used to develop the reconstruction code for the
Spherical Neutral Detector which is in operation at the
e+e- collider VEPP-2M in Novosibirsk from 1995.
An experience of using COCHA is discussed.
