Quantum computing is a novel and extremely rapidly developing field which has the potential to change our way of computing and even our way of performing science.
Quantum computing offers the fascinating opportunity to solve problems which are extremely hard or even impossible to address on classical computers.
The Centre for Quantum Technologies and Applications (CQTA) in Zeuthen is a science-led center, which will enable researchers from universities, industry, and other research institutions to develop new applications for complex quantum systems, or to develop optimization algorithms for current and future quantum computers.
The center has the following focus points

Provide access to Emerging Quantum Computer Hardware
Develop use cases and applications from Industry and academia
Develop quantum algorithms and methods
Benchmarking, Testing and Verifying Quantum Computer Hardware
