"Top as Key to LHC Physics" is a junior researchers' group in experimental particle physics. The group is situated at Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron (DESY), Germany's national particle physics laboratory, a member of the Helmholtz Association of German Research Centers. The group participates in the ATLAS experiment at CERN, the European Laboratory for Particle Physics, as part of the DESY ATLAS group. The focus of the group is on the search for new physics with top quarks at the highest available energies and on operating and developing silicon detectors. DESY, HU Berlin, and TU Dresden are offering PhD scholarships via the DFG Research Training Group Mass, Spectrum, Symmetry. We have job openings for bachelor and master/Diplom students. |
